Pareillement, alors qu&rsquo;il devrait se d\u00e9gonfler durant l&rsquo;expiration, l\u2019abdomen se gonfle et le nombril va vers l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur. Cette respiration est dite \u00ab paradoxale \u00bb car effectivement, il y a un paradoxe \u00e0 vouloir gonfler et remplir les poumons tout en les comprimant avec l\u2019abdomen.<\/p>\n<p>Elle traduit un <strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\">dysfonctionnement du diaphragme<\/span> <\/strong>et une implication major\u00e9e des muscles respiratoires accessoires. Ce type de respiration se rencontre dans les cas de d\u00e9tresse respiratoire s\u00e9v\u00e8re, mais il s\u2019observe \u00e9galement chez des personnes anxieuses, les fumeurs ou d\u2019anciens fumeurs.<\/p>\n<p>Cette respiration paradoxale est \u00e9galement <strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\">celle que pratiquent certains d\u00e9butants<\/span><\/strong> lorsqu\u2019ils \u00ab tentent \u00bb de r\u00e9aliser une respiration diaphragmatique. Cela s\u2019explique par le fait que cette respiration paradoxale recrute certains muscles inspirateurs superficiels (muscles intercostaux), dont la contraction est ais\u00e9ment ressentie sous la peau, tandis que la contraction du diaphragme qui est un muscle profond, est pour sa part tr\u00e8s difficile \u00e0 sentir.<\/p>\n<p>En prenant conscience de cette inversion des mouvements, et parfois en accompagnant d\u2019une main le mouvement d\u2019aller\/retour correct de l\u2019abdomen, <strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">cela se corrige g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement ais\u00e9ment<\/span><\/strong>.
