Vu de l&rsquo;ext\u00e9rieur \u00e0 ce niveau, on semble endormi mais on reste pleinement conscient de son milieu int\u00e9rieur. En fait, on perd toute conscience du corps physique. A cette phase de la s\u00e9ance de Yoga Nidra, <strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\">on \u00e9voque des images soit les unes apr\u00e8s les autres, soit sous forme d&rsquo;histoires<\/span><\/strong>; on essaye de les visualiser. On discipline son imagination \u00e0 tel point que l&rsquo;on est capable d&rsquo;\u00e9voquer des paysages, des oc\u00e9ans, des fleurs, des temples, des montagnes et des saints.<\/p>\n<p>Les images utilis\u00e9es sont s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9es en fonction de leur symbolisme universel et des associations puissantes qu&rsquo;elles suscitent. En les visualisant, <strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\">on cultive les niveaux les plus profonds du mental et l&rsquo;on approfondit la perception de soi<\/span><\/strong>. Cette phase se termine habituellement sur une image ou un groupe d&rsquo;images charg\u00e9s d&rsquo;une forte signification spirituelle ou appelant des sensations de paix et de calme.
