Il r\u00e9sulte de forces qui, \u00e0 un moment donn\u00e9, se neutralisent. Son maintien, est, de ce fait, pr\u00e9caire. Le langage populaire ne s\u2019y trompe pas, qui parle d\u2019\u00e9quilibriste ou de funambule pour d\u00e9peindre un personnage \u00e0 la conduite impr\u00e9visible ou tant soit peu r\u00e9pr\u00e9hensible.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\">La notion d\u2019\u00e9quilibre sous-tend donc celle d\u2019un couple de contraires, d\u2019une paire d\u2019oppos\u00e9s entre lesquels se situe, quelque part, un point d\u2019\u00e9quilibre.<\/span><\/strong> Ce que confirme son \u00e9tymologie latine : <em>equa libra<\/em>, c\u2019est \u00ab tenir la balance \u00e9gale \u00bb entre deux forces. Le mot balance connotant \u00e0 son tour finesse d\u2019observation, patience, qualit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9coute, pr\u00e9cision, justesse de la pens\u00e9e, sensibilit\u00e9, toutes les qualit\u00e9s qu\u2019on retrouve intrins\u00e8quement dans le travail postural des \u00e9quilibres.<\/p>\n<p>Ainsi, trouver ou retrouver l\u2019\u00e9quilibre, c\u2019est admettre deux \u00e9vidences : l\u2019\u00e9quilibre se situe toujours \u00ab entre \u00bb deux forces, dont les caract\u00e9ristiques sont par ailleurs changeantes, ce qui suppose <strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">un permanent ajustement<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00eame si, dans la posture de yoga, l\u2019\u00e9quilibre nous appara\u00eet statique, il est donc plus juste de parler de \u00ab conduite \u00bb ou de <strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\">\u00ab dynamique \u00bb d\u2019\u00e9quilibre<\/span> <\/strong>\u2013 l\u2019image du cycliste est, \u00e0 cet \u00e9gard, tr\u00e8s instructive \u2013 ce qui pr\u00e9sente, en outre, le grand int\u00e9r\u00eat de nous \u00f4ter de la t\u00eate l\u2019id\u00e9e d\u2019un \u00e9quilibre acquis une fois pour toutes, id\u00e9e utopique que la vie s\u2019ing\u00e9nie \u00e0 contre-dire avec une in\u00e9puisable constance\u2026<\/p>\n<p>(Extrait de <em>Polarit\u00e9s et libert\u00e9<\/em> de Fran\u00e7ois Roux, publi\u00e9 dans le n\u00b04 \/ Janvier 2009 de la <em>Revue Fran\u00e7aise de Yoga : Equilibres sur les pieds<\/em>) &#8211;&nbsp;Photo by <a href=\"https:\/\/unsplash.com\/@mischievous_penguins?utm_source=unsplash&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_content=creditCopyText\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Casey Horner<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Qu\u2019est-ce que l\u2019\u00e9quilibre ?
