Selon le volume, la dur\u00e9e et la fr\u00e9quence de r\u00e9p\u00e9tition, le souffle se fait prolong\u00e9 et subtil<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><em>(Yoga Sutra, II-50)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\">On suspend le souffle apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;expiration ou apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;inspiration<\/span><\/strong>: c&rsquo;est ce que dit textuellement Patanjali, qui d\u00e9crit surtout des \u00e9tats de pranayama et non pas tellement des techniques. Le pranayama est un \u00e9tat de cessation du processus habituel de la respiration, qui peut se produire apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;expiration, apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;inspiration ou n&rsquo;importe o\u00f9 entre les deux.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/ekongkar.yoga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/patanjali-yogas-sutras-kundalini-ekongkar.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"175\" height=\"290\" \/><\/strong>On a imagin\u00e9 des centaines de techniques, au point d&rsquo;en faire parfois une science compliqu\u00e9e. <strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\">L&rsquo;essentiel est la cessation.<\/span><\/strong> Il en va ici comme pour les postures physiques: on a souvent fait une discipline de ce qui au d\u00e9part n&rsquo;a d&rsquo;autre but que de simplifier l&rsquo;acc\u00e8s au samadhi.<\/p>\n<p>Le souffle se fait prolong\u00e9 et subtil. Plus la conscience individuelle est \u00e9paisse, plus le souffle se fait lourd et grossier; au contraire, la conscience individuelle raffin\u00e9e a le souffle profond et subtil. En retour, <strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\">l&rsquo;acquisition d&rsquo;un souffle profond et subtil \u00e9l\u00e8ve et raffine la conscience<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Jean Bouchart d&rsquo;Orval<\/span><\/strong>, est physicien nucl\u00e9aire \u00e0 l&rsquo;universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al.
