A chaque respiration, les poumons sont emplis d\u2019air au maximum, puis vid\u00e9 le plus compl\u00e8tement possible.<\/p>\n<p>Selon la corpulence de la personne, cette respiration mobilise plus ou moins <strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\">4,5 litres d\u2019air<\/span><\/strong>, ce qui correspond \u00e0 la \u00ab capacit\u00e9 pulmonaire vitale \u00bb (voir : <a href=\"http:\/\/ekongkar.yoga\/?page_id=4875\">les volumes respiratoires<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">L\u2019inspiration<\/span><\/strong> lors de cette respiration est un mouvement compos\u00e9 qui peut \u00eatre divis\u00e9 en trois: un mouvement dans la <strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\">r\u00e9gion abdominale<\/span><\/strong>, un mouvement dans la <strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\">r\u00e9gion costale<\/span><\/strong> et un mouvement haut, au niveau des <strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\">clavicules et du cou<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>L\u2019inspiration (apr\u00e8s une expiration profonde) est initi\u00e9e par un rel\u00e2chement des muscles abdominaux et une contraction du diaphragme. Le diaphragme s\u2019aplatissant, comprime les visc\u00e8res abdominaux contre une paroi abdominale rel\u00e2ch\u00e9e et <strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\">le<\/span> <span style=\"color: #008080;\">ventre gonfle<\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>L\u2019inspiration se poursuit dans la partie m\u00e9diane du tronc, <strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\">la cage thoracique s\u2019ouvre<\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>L\u2019inspiration se termine dans le haut de la poitrine, par <strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\">le soul\u00e8vement de la partie haute du sternum et des clavicules<\/span><\/strong>, sous l\u2019action de diff\u00e9rents muscles qui tractent la cage thoracique vers le haut.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">L\u2019expiration <\/span><\/strong>suit cette succession de trois mouvements en sens inverse (3, puis 2 puis 1).
